Hi, I’m Ray. I’m a Filipino-British Filmmaker and Content Creator, based in London. I’ve been making silly videos since I was 12 years old for YouTube and have never really stopped. These days my directed work ranges from narrative to documentary, music video, and commercial. I also work as a camera operator and editor. I’m also no longer 12 years old.

Beyond film and commercial projects, I create content sharing stories from life but also on Asian culture, food and filmmaking for my social channels. I've garnered over 15k subscribers on YouTube.

My personal work often explores themes of memory and reconnecting with heritage. I’m passionate about sharing East & South Asian stories. Growing up a Filipino kid in a small British town, I wish I could have seen more of my culture on screen. This led me to found the British Asian creative collective, Occasians, which showcases and champions Asian creatives in London by putting on events and workshop.

I've had the privilege of being a guest lecturer at UCL, UCA, and The London Screen Academy, where I share my knowledge on filmmaking, directing, and cinematography.
